TinTin’s Trinkets is a 25 year old Gujurati- Australian artist, Maansi Pandya who dedicates her craft to exploring mutlimedia techniques and more ancient techniques of crafting. Through the use of the lost wax carving and casting method alongside other mediums such as crochet, hand sewing and silversmithing, art can exist both as wearable and functional pieces of your life.
By using precious metals and taking the time to sit with crafts that are more time consuming my hope is for consumers to engage more critically with how they shop. I value slow fashion and sustainability is a key consideration in my creation process with many of the yarns used in crochet pieces are second hand and thrifted.
